The broad musical interests of Exeter Chamber Choir and their director, Andrew Daldorph, are reflected in the repertoire performed in their frequent concerts throughout the year.  From the early music performance of Monteverdi’s Vespers in Exeter Cathedral in 2005 through to concerts including Bach cantatas, Handel’s Dixit Dominus and Nisi Dominus, up to 20th and 21st century works including Parry’s Songs of Farewell and close harmony arrangements of standards such as ‘I Got Rhythm’, the choir is accomplished in adapting their sound and style to the programme.  The group regularly works with local organists and instrumentalists at both modern and baroque pitch, however is equally comfortable singing a capella.   Concert programmes are selected to offer both choir members and audiences the opportunity to explore familiar repertoire in new and exciting ways, and to introduce works which are less frequently heard, but deserve to be, such as the Frank Martin Mass for Double Choir.
